Want to send money to india and don’t know how. Now most the banks in India have made it quick and easy to send money to India with a fee as low as 25 Rupees. Remittances are transfers of money by foreign workers to their home countries. So the banks call these money transfers remittances. Let me just give brief information about the HDFC QuickRemit account. You just need to sign up for an account, add your account information, add a beneficiary in India with his account information and you are done. HDFC will verify your account by crediting and debiting a few cents. This will take 2-3 business days during which you account will show “under verification”. You will get a mail when your account is ready to be verified. Once you enter the transaction amount in the verification form, you can start remitting money to India. The fee for each transaction will be Rs. 25 which will be debited from the beneficiary’s account. You can see the exchange rate at the time of money transfer. But the exchange rate used to convert may be different based on the date of transaction. So next time you hear that Rupee is weak, make a transfer so that you get the maximum money in Rupees.
